... but not anymore!

We have finally manage to get broadband at our new home! For all you Brits out there reading this (and I'm sure y'all already know!) BT suck donkey cock!!! I mean, we've been here a month in the new place, and they have only just hooked us up!?! Gits!

Anyhoooo ... Still going strong down here The new house and house mates are great; we've finally settled in nicely and the place is pretty much kitted out, no w I just have to settle down back into some proper photography The weather here has been shocking, but on the next day of sun (should this summer provide any more) on a day off I'll be out there somewhere

It's good to finally get back here! I have had an artist be in touch about using some of my works for inspiration for her art (looking forward to the seeing the results!), a random feature in a news item etc and a ton of messages and deviations to go through! Plus I can finally chat to you all again

Big to everyone!

Yup! That's what it feels like to me these days. No word of a lie, every week I have spent down in Newquay has felt like a life time, and it is wonderful!

Unfotunatley I do not have the luxury of easy internet access at the moment, so I thought I should get something up and just say "Hi", "yeah all is well" etc. I am truly loving my new life (and everything else!) down in the South West of England.

I have a new job, a new home, new friends (some real great ones too!), new places to see ... in short, a new life. 100%. I am as amazed as anyone!

I have now moved into a lovely, big four bedroom house with two of my dearest friends, Lisa and Emma This all happened as I returned to Newquay after Finland. It's freakin' awesome!

My photographic eye is slowly coming back, though I have yet to shoot anything really. However, I am starting to "see the pictures in my head" again as I used to, which is awesome, so I am slowly working back up to it. I think I just need life to settle a little more ... and then I have some of the most amazing scenery and landscapes to shoot - I am very keen to do some more, but just can't seem to break through that final "barrier" just yet ... it'll happen ... and pretty soon I'm sure

In the mean time, all is very well

I already have 1k+ of deviations to get through, and I will slowly go though them (and the hundereds more to come) over the next month or so

Anyhow, big love to you all, gotta dash as I have a ton of dismantling and packing up of furniture to do to get back to my new home ...

One year (give or take a week or two) Not a bad total ...

Well ... I'm in, I'm unpacked, I've settled a bit and everyone is so nice here

I've been accepted in with open arms and live in a house of many fine people. The owners are a wonderful couple with two lovely kids, one eight and the other just barely one (awh!) ...

I've yet to have a proper wander around for some shots, but have seen many an opportunity out there ... Many friends are planning on visiting, and a few for a shoot or two (some old faces perhaps, maybe some new? )

I went for a job interview a few days back and managed to get it! Though not a wonderful salary as such, I don't really mind as this is really not a career decision for me and any work is simply a means to an end for the time being ...

Off to Finland in less than a week for my Mother's wedding, so be expecting some great Finnish landscape shots and the like!

Anyhow, in essence, the transition to my new life could not have been easier, and I dearly thank everyone involved

Well it's been a crazy month (or so); Up and down all over the place, unexpected utter happiness at times, and a complete slump at others ... funny ol' thing ... or to coin a wonderful phrase - I'm a silly old bear

Anyhow ... my latest update is that I am moving to Newquay, Cornwall this coming weekend (21st onwards). I need to get away from this area for now, though I realise that it is nothing more than a wonderful distraction for the time being, but that is all I need for now. You still need to deal with your feelings and baggage as this is what you carry with you all the time.

I'm incredibly excited, but apprehensive and doubtful at times. It's going to be a great experience, and I have some wonderful friends waiting for me there, a room sorted out and waiting and an interview for work too! It has all seemingly fallen nicely into place ...

... Now I don't know if I'll have internet access in my new place yet, but will endeavour to get something sorted there ... otherwise internet cafes are going to be my new home
